Manufacturing & Prototyping
Engineering product innovation work focused on fabrication, tolerance-driven prototyping, and injection-molded component design.
In ME358 at the Engineering Product Innovation Center, I produced functional components using waterjet cutting, CNC machining, sheet-metal forming, drilling, and manual assembly. The work connected fabrication choices directly to tolerance analysis, material behavior, and iterative testing for fit, function, reliability, and manufacturability.
I also produced and evaluated an injection-molded component through the lens of high-volume manufacturing. Its design accounted for draft, wall thickness, shrinkage, parting lines, and common molding defects before the part was evaluated against those constraints.
