Solar-Powered Mini-Car Design
A solar-powered mini-car concept developed and refined through CAD, finite element analysis, and motion studies.
In UCLA’s MECH&AE 94, I developed several concepts for a solar-powered mini-car and modeled the selected direction in SolidWorks. The early concept work balanced the vehicle’s form, solar power constraints, and likely performance.
I used structural finite element analysis and motion studies to refine material use, study structural behavior, and evaluate expected performance before committing to the final design.
